What is an Invitation?

An invitation is where you are invited to access a board with a given board role, either as a member or as a visitor.

If you have permission to access a project and its boards, you typically would not need to be invited unless you want to provide an elevated role for a particular board.

Invitations to boards are only displayed in your My Boards view and are denoted by having the invite icon shown as depicted in the above image.

Invitations remain active until you delete them, the invitation is canceled, or you are disinvited.
